In 2005, Union Pacific decorated six locomotives to honor the people and the companies of the major railroads that had merged with UP. Each locomotive in the series featured a Heritage paint scheme and a road number signifying the year the railroad became a part of the Union Pacific system.
Wearing one of those special Heritage paint schemes, this O scale model of a powerful SD90 features a finely molded body; dual motors with metal gears; flywheel coasting action; six-wheel power trucks with traction tires; an electronic 6-amp reverse board; working dual headlights; a digital horn and bell; sturdy stamped metal handrails; die cast trucks, pilots and couplers; and more.
