Designed with the help of two senior designers of the original United Aircraft TurboTrain, this premium quality, HO scale set from the experts at Rapido features two Power Dome Car gas turbine-electric locomotives - each with built-in DCC and sound that operates on DCC and DC layouts (includes a handheld controller to operate sounds in DC) and a 5-pole skew wound motor with a flywheel for plenty of high-speed power - and an intermediate TurboCafe-Coach car.
Because each locomotive has its own sound board - you'll hear authentic sounds such as turbine, bell, doors, station announcements, and the distinctive TurboTrain horn - your TurboTrain will roar at the front and rear just like the real thing!
