Amtrak - Phase IV (C) - N scale
Amtrak developed special express boxcars - called material handling cars - to help add freight revenue loads to its passenger runs. These unique cars can be found among the consist of Amtrak trains all across the country.
This Kato N scale set is the perfect complement to the Superliner passenger train sets (R99427 and R99428). Each car features highly detailed roof, side panels and truck side frames, blackened metal wheels, knuckle couplers, a unique road number (#1507 and #1524), Amtrak Phase IV markings and more. Each car measure 4½" in length.
