Nickel Plate
Built by Lima in 1944, the Nickel Plate Road's #759 - an S-2 class 2-8-4 Berkshire - was primarily used for fast freight service and can now be seen on display at Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This DCC-equipped, HO scale model of the famous #759 features a powerful 5-pole motor and precision gearing for smooth operation, a finely molded body and a die cast chassis, factory-applied details such as handrails and a bell, a working headlight, magnetically operated knuckle couplers, a prototypical tender with a simulated coal load, a lifetime limited warranty, and more. Measures 15½" long with tender and arrives ready to run.
