Amtrak #650 - N scale
Amtrak's double-ended, high-horsepower HHP-8 electric locomotives entered service in 2002 to speed passenger trains up and down the busy Northeast Corridor.
This DCC-ready, N scale electric locomotive, part of Bachmann's elite Spectrum line, features a 5-pole skew wound motor; highly detailed pantographs and body panels; directional headlights, ditchlights and markers; operating doors; a painted engineer figure; knuckle couplers; a lifetime limited warranty; Amtrak Acela markings and more. Model can draw power from either the wheels or pantographs. Measures 5" long.
