With the outbreak of World War II and the necessity for tactical vehicles, Britain began equipping civilian motorcycles for military use. They were used primarily for communication between different units, and the Triumph 3HW was one of the most successful models, converted for war with olive drab colors and larger frames for canvas bags.
A replica of a Triumph 3HW used during World War II, this 1/9 scale kit features a detailed chassis, a realistic engine, a glazed headlight, realistically treaded tires, a rear-mounted canvas bag, a helmet, a rifle, and authentic decals for eight different motorcycles. Assembly required. Skill level 3. Measures approximately 9" long.
